The Real War on Women: What Hamas Did on October 7 — and What Mondoweiss Doesn’t Want You to Know

Mariam Khateeb’s recent article in Mondoweiss is not just a biased distortion — it is a cruel fabrication that whitewashes terror, glorifies barbarism, and erases the real women whose bodies were brutalized, mutilated, raped, and desecrated by Hamas on October 7.

FACT: October 7 Was the Most Documented Mass Sexual Assault Event Since ISIS

On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and unleashed unspeakable atrocities, particularly targeting women in a premeditated campaign of sexual violence.

They didn’t just murder — they raped, tortured, mutilated, and then displayed the bodies like trophies.

  • Women were gang-raped in front of their families and neighbors.

  • Female victims were found naked from the waist down, their bodies tied, mutilated, and burned.

  • In Kfar Aza and Be’eri, women’s genitals were intentionally targeted with brutal weapons.

  • One pregnant woman had her stomach slit open while alive — her unborn baby removed and a knife held to the infant’s head while still attached by the umbilical cord.

  • Paramedics who collected the bodies reported finding women with broken pelvises — clear indicators of rape before death.

  • Forensic teams confirmed these were not isolated cases, but part of a deliberate, systemic act of terror and gender-based war crimes.

These are not claims. These are documented, photographed, and corroborated by medical professionals, international investigators, and firsthand witnesses.

Survivors of Hamas Captivity: Sexual Violence Didn't End on October 7

Many Israeli women were abducted to Gaza and subjected to continued sexual slavery:

  • Lawyer Amit Soussana was held in a private apartment, repeatedly sexually assaulted at gunpoint, and psychologically terrorized for weeks.

  • Multiple female hostages returned with signs of repeated rape, STDs, and severe trauma — yet they remain largely silent in public because of the stigma, fear, and the left’s refusal to believe them.

  • UN Women, after global outrage, finally acknowledged “credible allegations” of widespread sexual violence by Hamas.

Why Mariam Khateeb’s Article Is a Dangerous Fabrication

Khateeb’s piece dares to claim Palestinian women are the ones who’ve “lost their bodily rights.” This is grotesquely Orwellian in light of the October 7 massacre. Her entire narrative is:

  • Devoid of evidence — no documentation, no independent verification.

  • Morally inverted — portraying Israel as the aggressor while ignoring or denying Hamas’s gender-based war crimes.

  • Rooted in propaganda, not journalism — Mondoweiss has a long history of publishing pro-Hamas narratives under the guise of social justice.

By erasing what was done to Israeli women — and instead presenting a one-sided demonization of Israel — Khateeb becomes complicit in rape denial, hostage abuse erasure, and terror glorification.

What Israel Actually Does for Women

While Hamas parades victims and abuses women, Israel protects, empowers, and uplifts them:

  • Women serve as combat soldiers, pilots, Knesset members, Supreme Court justices, entrepreneurs, and diplomats.

  • Sexual violence is prosecuted vigorously in Israeli law.

  • Female hostages have been treated and supported by Israeli hospitals and trauma teams upon return, unlike the abuse hidden and silenced under Hamas rule.

Truth Matters — Justice Demands It

To ignore the rape of Israeli women on October 7 is not neutrality — it’s denialism.

To publish an article like Khateeb’s without even mentioning the systematic sexual terrorism against Jewish women is not journalism — it’s blood libel in modern form.

To deny the survivors their truth is to repeat history’s worst crimes against the Jewish people.

Final Word

Shame on Mariam Khateeb. Shame on Mondoweiss. And shame on anyone who believes "resistance" gives men the right to gang-rape, burn, and mutilate women.

We remember.

We will speak.

We will fight for truth. And we will not let terrorists or their apologists write the history.
